Prime, Inc. is one of America’s largest trucking operations which means we are critical in getting products delivered on time for about every industry you can think of. Our on-site Learning Center supports the families at Prime to guarantee everyone has access to work/life balance. We are immediately hiring for full time associates to join our center at our SLC Location.

Summary:

 

We will train teachers on our play-based philosophy. We believe children learn best through exploring the world around them. Together, we are dedicated to fostering happy, socially engaged, independent thinking children through a teacher and parent supported community.

In this role you will lead and encourage a classroom of children to reach their full potential as they grow. Your day to day will be on your feet caring for children, writing lesson plans, and leading through our creative curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will be dependent on classroom age and position within Center.
  • Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers when applicable.
  • Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
  • Establish and reinforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
  • Serves meals and refreshments to children.
  • Keeps the children’s safety a priority both in the classroom and on the playground.

Hours:

 

Our Center is open Monday – Friday 6:00am to 6:30pm

Our full-time associates will work around 40 hours per week

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma
