All in-house associates are eligible for Prime’s 401(k) plan. Eligibility begins the first quarter after your 6-month anniversary.

Our 401(k) plan includes a range of investment choices and variable profit sharing. Prime Inc. will match $1 per $1 contributed up to 3%. After that, Prime will match 50 cents per $1 contributed on the next 2%. All 401(k) participants are immediately vested.

Vacation Days

Vacation time is earned based on how long each associate has been with the company. Vacation begins accruing from your hire date as follows: 1 day per month up to 10 days. After the first anniversary is reached, vacation will be applied annually on the associate’s anniversary date.

Sick Pay

Associates begin to accumulate sick days upon hire. Sick days are accrued at the rate of 1/2 day per month, to a maximum of 10 sick days, subject to a 3-day waiting period for hourly associates before the first sick leave day becomes available. Salaried associates are not subject to a 3-day waiting period. A statement from your physician may be required as proof of illness. Accrued sick pay will be paid at your base rate of pay.

Funeral Leave

Associates receive base wages for time missed due to a death in your immediate family. Immediate family members are considered to be the following: a spouse, children, mother, father, brothers, sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren or any person living in your home whom you legally support. Funeral leave is paid as follows:

  • Employed less than 6 months: No funeral leave
  • Employed 6 months to 2 years: 1 day
  • Employed 2 to 5 years: 2 days
  • Employed 5 years or more: 3 days

Continuing Education

Educational assistance is available for pre-approved courses which maintain or improve skills for your current or future positions at Prime.

Our Prime Success Scholars program offers a discount through Bethel University to associates and their dependents who intend to pursue higher education. Contact Human Resources for more information on this benefit.
