Responsibilities
- Anticipates guest needs and ensures that service exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience
- Coordinates food service between kitchen and service staff
- Assists with private dining setup, service and tear down
- Assists in the hiring and training of all FOH associates
- Insures proper staffing levels according to forecasts and seasonal trends
- Ensures profitability by helping to maintain proper staffing levels in both Front and back of house.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining liquor inventory and cost controls
- Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission and insures all FOH staff is current in MO SMART alcohol training
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
- Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control, monitoring accuracy of charges and end of month inventories
- Maintains communication with Hotel/Restaurant Management team
Qualifications
- Full-service restaurant management experience to include extensive bar and wine knowledge
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and have the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to train and motivate staff
- Will work a varied schedule to include days, nights and weekends.
