Responsibilities

  • Anticipates guest needs and ensures that service exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience
  • Coordinates food service between kitchen and service staff
  • Assists with private dining setup, service and tear down
  • Assists in the hiring and training of all FOH associates
  • Insures proper staffing levels according to forecasts and seasonal trends
  • Ensures profitability by helping to maintain proper staffing levels in both Front and back of house.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining liquor inventory and cost controls
  • Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission and insures all FOH staff is current in MO SMART alcohol training
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
  • Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control, monitoring accuracy of charges and end of month inventories
  • Maintains communication with Hotel/Restaurant Management team

Qualifications

  • Full-service restaurant management experience to include extensive bar and wine knowledge
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and have the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to train and motivate staff
  • Will work a varied schedule to include days, nights and weekends.
