Cafe Assistant Manager

We are immediately hiring for a Cafe Associate to help achieve our goal of providing healthy & delicious meals to our drivers, in-house associates & family members. This role will fuel our people to keep them rolling on and off the road.

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 1:00pm to 10:00pm
Responsibilities

1. Supervises and participates in daily operations of café on the cook line, in the kitchen, and at the cash register. |

2. Makes recommendations and decisions regarding overall operation of the café. 3. Follows established procedures for cleanliness and food preparation and ensures that food service work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner an in accordance with government and company standards. 4. Seeks to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize costs. 5. Delivers exceptional service to all customers including non-driving and driving associates. 6. Ensures all associates are aware of their responsibilities and are given supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work. 7. Develops a team of associates that take pride in their job and take ownership of their work. 8. Orients and trains staff in proper work practices during their shift. 9. Assures that all associates are following Prime and Café policies, addresses infractions and reports to the Café supervisor. 10. Assures that meals are prepared and delivered on time and in acceptable quantity and quality. |

11. Inventories supplies and equipment. 12. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 45lbs; pushing and pulling is minimal.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Experience in cooking and/or supervisory responsibilities
